Eric Withers Named Department Chief at CMVFR
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Eric Withers as Department Chief at Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue.

Chief Withers has over 21 years of experience in the fire and rescue service, including 10 years as a fire and rescue instructor with the North Carolina Department of Insurance.

Board of Directors Nominations
Crowder's Mountain Fire & Rescue will hold it's Annual Meeting on June 4th, 2013 at 7pm at Station 1.

The purpose of that meeting is to elect the Board of Director members to begin serving starting in July 2013.

Anyone interested in running for the Board of Directors should submit nominations in writing, email, or postmarked and delivered to Luther Clark (Board of Directors Secretary). Nominations via email can be sent to:

ALL NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 21ST, 2013 AT 5PM.

You must OWN property within the combined Fire and Rescue district, and be present at the annual meeting to be eligible to be a member of the board.

Carry The Load!
Carry The Load is an initiative carried out by both active and retired members of our armed forces. The mission is to march from West Point to Dallas, Texas by Memorial Day, to raise awareness and funds for the families of fallen heroes. The guys visited Station 55 on Sunday May 12th, 2013, and it was our honor and privilege to meet them.
